Tthe first Regional Technical Coordination Committee (RTCC) meeting for the Programme for the Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Zambezi Watercourse (PIDACC Zambezi) was held on 20 November 2024 in Livingstone, Zambia.
PIDACC Zambezi is funded by the Riparian States, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Strategic Partner Organisations including the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and the Commonwealth Secretariat. PIDACC Zambezi is being implemented in two Zambezi Riparian States of Mozambique and Zambia and at regional level by ZAMCOM.
The objective of PIDACC Zambezi is to create strong communities that are resilient to climatic and economic shocks in the Zambezi Watercourse, through promoting inclusive, transformative investments, job-creation and ecosystem-based solutions.
